Bottles with minor damages are introduced as test bottles into the production flow and must be recognized as defective by the inspection machines. If this is not the case, the machine needs to be checked and the the test bottle needs to be removed reliably from the production line. RFID technology has the advantage that the data carriers can be fixed inside the bottle safely and can be read even without direct visual contact. With this technology it is also possible to remove single bottles and replace them with new bottles after a specific number of test cycles.
